the first interlude. i sampled two default filename tv videos to kick off the stories. in the main interpretation of the album's story, the guitar sample represents the idea of creativity. it being drowned out by the corporate and industrial sounds represents feeling like your creativity doesn't stand out in the large crowd. in my second interpretation of the story, the guitar sample is my inspiration, and it's being drowned out by the fear of repetition and my ideas becoming "stale".
