this is the longest track on the album. it's also the first track i made for the album, before i even knew i wanted to do a catastrophe/avalanches style album! i wanted to sample power o funk so i did. i made this before i realized the composer was a huge elitist but i kept it in because i really like the track.

in the main story, this is where our character arrives in the big city of tokyo! even at the late hour of 1 AM, the city is bustling with night life, which is expressed in the track. imagine this character walking through the illuminated streets of tokyo on their way to their hotel, before arriving, checking in, and going to sleep for the night.

in the second story, this is the last track i make on the first night. more pieces of my style shine through here than last time. a bit more satisfied, i decide to go to sleep.
